Janet Klein "Ready For You" Japan Tour 2008

The Hollywood-based "mysterious beauty with the ukulele" is visiting Japan for the first time in two years. With her own band, Parlor Boys, Klein has been presenting stylish interpretations of1920s-30s jazz, hill billy, blues, and other forms of good old American music since her debut as a professional musician ten years ago, whereas it's especially her cute, fairy-like voice that made her immensely popular around the world. Klein's new album, "Ready For You" (including among others the famous "Ginza Kan Kan Musume", sung in Japanese) is filled to the brim with timeless evergreen songs, which this time make up the program of a swingy and definitely enchanting little live show.
