Here comes another chance to encounter new sounds from Tokyo as unearthed by the Progressive Form label, and a look at the lineup this time suggests some extra depth. In addition to the electronica songs of Takashi Wada, who just released his new album, the exquisitely balanced crossover program ranges from minimal click house to mysterious flavored post rock. While it's especially the "bands" - three-piece mophONE and the quartet NGATARI - that promise the most thrilling performances, the totally unpredictable set of laptop wizard Oba Masahiro should be another highlight.
