Film Festival at 10am
For one year, a selection of 50 masterpieces from the 1950s-70s put together by public voting will be shown in weekly changing programs at a total of 25 movie theatres across Japan. Titles include "Singin' In the Rain", "East of Eden", "Some Like It Hot", "A Man and a Woman (Un homme et une femme)", "Casablanca", "2001: A Space Odyssey", "Cinema Paradiso (Nuovo Cinema Paradiso)" and many more favorites, all of which are shown in new print versions for the bargain admission of 1,000 yen for adults. Seize this opportunity to go and see that one particular movie again, or catch those you missed back in the day and never got the chance to see. Without a doubt, this is one event that will demonstrate how much more genuine fun it is to watch a movie at a movie theatre and not at home on DVD!
