"Cassandra's Dream" is the name of a beautiful yacht owned by Ian and Terry, two brothers living in South London. Each of these unsophisticated working-class boys is pursuing his own little dream in life, until the day when the younger is backed into a corner by heavy gambling debts. The boys' last hope is a risky business they are asked to do by their "rich" uncle Howard. Just when they are finally about to catch a break and their future begins to look bright, a deep abyss opens up in front of them... Allen illustrates the tragic story in his own unique rhythm mixing mysterious and humorous elements, while Ewan McGregor and Colin Farrell deliver accomplished performances in the roles of the two brothers. The result is a brilliant movie that a captivates the viewer with an intoxicating plot.
