Festival director for the Image Forum 2001-10, presently active as a freelance curator. Has been in charge of curation at the Aichi Triennale (2013), Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum (2015/16) and Aomori Museum of Art (2017/18), and continues to be involved in various events at alluring hidden locations in Tokyo, such as ”Track Top Tokyo” (2016), ”Toshi bosai boot camp” (2017), and “Meguriai JAXA” (2016-18).

Art writer. Was an editor in charge of art for the cultural information magazine WEEKLY PIA from 1991 until ’97. Presently writes for publications such as SPUR and colocal. Has been conducting interviews with artists including Takehito Koganezawa and Taro Izumi, and contributing articles on such projects as the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale. Also writes movie reviews, and is involved as a team member in “Meguriai JAXA,” a screening event of archival satellite observation images of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) edited into non-staged movies.
dj sniff (Takuro Mizuta Lippit) is a musician and curator in the field of experimental electronic arts and improvised music. His musical work builds upon a distinct practice that combines DJing, instrument design, and free improvisation and has performed at various venues and festivals around the world. He was Artistic Director of STEIM (2007-12) in Amsterdam and Visiting Assistant Professor at School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong (2012-17), and since 2014 Co-Director of AMF, a festival focused on emerging experimental and improvised music form Asia. He is now based in Tokyo.
Film critic and author/editor of numerous publications including Kinokuniya Eiga Sosho 1-3 (Kinokuniya), Michael Cimino Dokuhon (boid) and Československá nová vlna (Kokusho Hankokai). Also translated such books as Peter Bogdanovich’s Who The Hell’s In It (Esquire Japan) and Samuel Fuller’s autobiography (boid) among others, and continues to contribute writings to magazines, movie theater programs, booklets, etc.
Born in Tokyo. Graduated Keio University Faculty of Literature, Department of Philosophy, aesthetics and art history major. Since 1990s, She has been at the forefront of the Japanese art scene as a writer / art journalist / art producer. 2003 spring, launched an art bar TRAUMARIS in Roppongi, was moved to Ebisu NADiff building, as an alternative space TRAUMARIS where art exhibitions, live performances, food and drink can be enjoyed. After closed the space, is currently involved in various art activities beyond the boundaries of the genre as an art producer. A jury for Yokohama Dance Collection’s competition from 2011 to 2016.
